What a HAM we have! haha She’s always ready to “talk,” smile, and wave at strangers everywhere we go. She has even been known to walk up to women at stores and hold up her arms to be picked up!! Uhhhh…we really don’t encourage that…lol I love that she’s so interactive with people though (still shy and not sure about men), it’s awesome.
At 14 months Andie:
+is 21 lbs and 29.5 inches long
+points at everything
+has 6 teeth
+learned to play the harmonica
+learned the “l” sound and says it all the time
+nods her head and started saying “yes”
+loves the beach
+went to her first two birthday parties
+likes playing in the kitchen while momma cooks and cleans in there
+has started to get upset when we tell her “no” but is doing a good job of listening–for now haha
Andie all of a sudden decided that 2 naps a day were too much and dropped to 1 nap this month. I have mixed feelings about it….lol The first day she had a nap strike and didn’t take even one nap – I felt a little crazy that day, hence my expression in the above photo. Haha! Then the next couple days she would get really upset when we tried to lay her down for a couple minutes then she’d roll around and babble in her crib for an hour before falling asleep. Finally we got to where we were able to lay her down at the time that she kept falling asleep and that was it! Her naptime still varies a little and usually happens between 11 and 12:30 but at least she naps!!!
Andie celebrated her second July 4th this year and it was so much fun! We went over to my parents and had a lot of great food and hung out. Andie was all over the place per usual, ate well, and got to play in her little pool in the backyard 🙂
I don’t know what it is but Andie looooves to carry things around on her arms like a purse….even my shoes. hahaha She does it all the time and it cracks me up!
Andie really enjoys being at the beach as you can see! She takes just a few minutes to warm up and then she is good to go. She likes it when we take her into the water and splash around a little bit, playing with her bucket and shovel in the sand, and walking up and down the beach. 🙂
A few days before Andie turned 14 months old, we went out of town to celebrate our nephew’s 1st birthday! It’s fun seeing the two of them walking around everywhere now. Elijah didn’t really pay Andie much attention, but she tried! haha 🙂
