42 Weeks

Love my little Spring baby! ❤ ❤

This past week we were able to get out of town and visit Daniel’s mom and stepdad in Wilmington! Daniel was able to take off work one day so that gave us 4 days which was awesome. Andie did so great in the car both ways (God blessed us with a child who does amazing with car rides) and we didn’t deal with any traffic either. We got down there Saturday evening and Andie was so happy to see her Nonna and Papa!

On Sunday, we went to the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher and Andie loved it! I think she really enjoyed watching all these new things in the water. So fun! It’s a great little aquarium–if you’re ever in the area, go check it out (they even have an albino alligator!)! After the aquarium we went and visited with some more family and then went back to the house for dinner and to relax. Great day!

Monday afternoon, Daniel and I took Andie to walk around downtown Wilmington and had such a great time. The weather was perfect for it and we like that area. We love the buildings and the huge historic homes even more–they are so much fun to look at! We made a big loop and walked down by the water too. Andie barely made a peep the whole time; she was just too busy looking around, smiling at everyone, and enjoying the breeze! 🙂 We stopped at a coffee shop for some chai and then headed back to the house for the rest of the day. My mother-in-law cooked us awesome meals every night we were there so we ate pretty well and Andie did amazing eating solids the whole time too! YAY!

I should also mention that we were terrified about how Andie would sleep while we were visiting and were pleasantly surprised when she pretty much slept through the night each day. We got a quilted fitted sheet for the pack n play mattress pad and I think that made a WORLD of difference. HALLELUJAH.

Momma & Daddy double as jungle gyms most days and we love it. She does too obviously 🙂
